This is an amazing wealth of self-care strategies for individuals who are trying to align their physical life with their divine purpose. Vishnu also reveals why society as a whole is resistive to such transformations and how individuals can peacefully transcend that resistance. The writing is clear and concise, easy to read.
Valuable insight and encouragement for anyone whose life has taken a painful unexpected turn. A real wake-up call. I could easily relate to and feel the emotions and hard-won wisdom Vishnu shared from his own life experiences. I felt as if he was a friend chatting with me over a cup of coffee because of his easy-to-read, conversational style.
The book Seven Sacred Promises resonated with me strongly. In my opinion, everybody should read it, contemplate on its message and hopefully act accordingly. The author presents social expectations we are all victims of. He calls them society’s promises and that is a really clever name for them. “If you follow our rules, we will reward you with this and that.” But the thing is society’s rewards don’t always appeal to our heart. That is why the author urges you to make new promises – the promises to yourself. He suggests the steps on how to do that and through his personal story shows you it is possible to break free from social expectations. Inspiring!
